People always ask me, “How do I get started?” They feel overwhelmed with their backlog of printed photos and those saved on their phones and computers.
Here is my advice…
Step 1: Pick ONE Project to Start
Decide which life event you want to celebrate and start there.
Here are a few project ideas:
- Baby Album
- Wedding or Anniversary Album
- School Album
- Special Vacation, Family Reunion, Special Birthday
- Tribute Album, Military Service Album, Retirement Album
- Pet or Animal Album
- Friends or Family Album
- Courtship Album
- Christmas Album
- Events, Clubs, or Hobby Album
Once you pick your project, move on to step 2.
Step 2: Pick Your Photos
This part takes a little more time. Go through your printed photos, your phone, your computer, your Facebook account, ask your friends and family for photos and memorabilia and start organizing it all together.
It is ok to discard blurry photos, eliminate duplicates, and become very selective.
Once you’ve picked your photos, move on to step 3.
Step 3: Pick Your Products
I recommend using Creative Memories albums, papers, and products because I know these have been tested for long-term use.
